PUBLIC RELATIONS

Catherine Lacasse Public Relations is a solo company that exists since 2012 and adds more than 20 years of experience in public and press relations, communication strategies and event organization. Over the years, I have acquired experience in my main field of interest: alpine skiing and everything related to it. I have also led several strategic communication and press relations campaigns for international companies as well as startups in the tourism and cultural domains. Being perfectly bilingual sets me apart and adds another asset to my services provided to my Quebec, Canadian and international clients. 

Since the very beginning of my career, I was brought to position in the media athletes, products and events from the ski industry. I later became head of the public relations department for Mont Tremblant Resort in order to promote the destination worldwide. 

Once a solopreneur, I was given the role of attaché for the Canadian Alpine, Ski Cross and Paralympic Ski Teams. I orchestrated media relations from the phenomenal rise to late retirement of the most decorated skier in Canadian history, Erik Guay, as well as the 40+ athletes on the Canadian Ski Team from across the country. I have always maintained a strong trusted relationship with many of the key players in the ski industry. It's no secret to anyone who knows me; I'm a winter girl who can't wait for the cold weather, who thrives on snowfall days to see mountains open their lifts. 

Press relations is my job, writing is my favorite thing to do, and skiing is what keeps me alive!
