The SnowPass and other ways to save on ski lift tickets
Essential rules to make sure you enjoy a family ski outing

At the beginning of each winter, the Quebec Ski Areas Association offers several ways to save on ski tickets as well as attractive offers to introduce our children to snow sports. In addition to the Ski Passe-Partout offering 5 discounts per resort all winter, there is the famous SnowPass issued by the Canadian Ski Council. This one is for children in grade 4 and 5 all over the country.
At a cost of $29.99, passholders can ski for free not once, but twice at each participating resort. There are more than 125 participating ski resorts across Canada, so you can visit your favorite, but also discover new ones. Knowing that the price of a ski ticket for a single day for this age group averages around $45 and more, depending on the resort, this pass is a real bargain. It allows families across Canada to go and enjoy a a fun activity day while saving considerably on ski tickets, if of course, they have children in grades 4 and/or 5. In addition, it is a great way to see the extent of our beautiful country's skiable terrain and to fully enjoy the joys of winter in the great outdoors.
The objective in focusing on these young people, who are on average between 9 and 10 years old, is to get them interested in skiing, in practicing a winter sport that involves all the family members. It is also because at this age, this is when young people develop their physical abilities. To avoid a sedentary lifestyle and to get them interested in physical activities that keep them in shape and away from screens for a few hours, skiing is the ideal sport to enjoy our Canadian winters. It is also one of the only sports that can be enjoyed by all members of the family, that can be practiced together, where it is not necessary to be part of a team or a club. The benefits of outdoor sports are undeniable and, above all, the time spent together as a family on the lifts creates memories that last a lifetime.
