Electrifying spring skiing atmosphere with events and activities for all

Here are some places to ski in the next few weeks if you are looking for the festive atmosphere of spring skiing and activities that will maximize your ski ticket purchase:

Lanaudiere

Ski Montcalm

Polish Family Ski Race: Saturday March 26th. This is the 40th edition and it's a race open to everyone, no matter what level of skiing, children, adults, anyone who wishes to try the easy course on the 'Competition' trail. Be an Olympian for one day for this friendly run. Participants can make two timed runs down the course, take the famous start ramp if desired, and of course, enjoy a few beers, vodkas and Polish specialties in the finish area of the course. Registration for the race: $10. The lift ticket will be only $20 for the day! (Being Polish is not a prerequisite!)

Ski La Réserve

Family Day: Saturday March 19th. From 11am to 2pm, entertainment, airbrush face painting, marshmallows to roast on the fire. It's free!

Central Quebec

Mont Gleason

Three dates to pin down in your agenda for a visit to this ski area: Saturday, March 17th.  There will be a festive evening with singer Steve Pontbriand.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, March 26th and 27th, it's the Splash, the closing event of the winter season under the theme of the tropics. Ski down the trail and try to cross the 80 feet water basin! The objective? Cross the pool without getting wet! BBQ, ambiance, entertainment, and many prizes will be part of this end-of-season event.

Laurentians

Station Mont Tremblant

Caribou Cup: Saturday, April 9th. You have to wear a costume (as eclectic as possible!) and then take up the challenge of crossing the water basin at the foot of mountain on skis or snowboard, without falling in. Music show and party atmosphere in the pedestrian village await! Hilarity guaranteed.

Sommet Saint-Sauveur

DJ presented by Coors Light, Saturdays March 19th and 26th from 4pm to 8pm and Saturdays April 2nd and 9th from 12pm to 4pm. On the program: DJ on site near the Sommet Express lift, coffee and hot chocolate, door prizes and it's free.

Mauricie

Vallée du Parc

The Splash Challenge (same concept as the Splash at Mont Gleason and the Caribou Cup at Tremblant) will be back. Date and details will be announced soon.

Monteregie

Ski St-Bruno

IF3 Videoquest - Friday March 17th. Videoquest, part of the IF3 Festival, presents ski and snowboard films produced by people from the region and in this case, films that were shot at Ski St-Bruno. It's open to everyone and it's free. An evening of viewing in the SNO PUB bar of the resort and a great way to end a day of skiing with a movie night among fans.
